Meet Kat
I work and live in Loughborough and have been a big fan of dogs for as long as I can remember. It all started with our family's black Labrador, Bez.
It wasn't until I started Kat's Dogs that I realised how much I enjoy helping dogs build confidence, learn new skills and simply enjoy being dogs.
Before starting my business, I spent over 20 years in professional roles built on trust, responsibility and clear communication.
Today, I bring those same qualities to every walk, training session and pet visit, treating every dog as an individual and every owner with the professionalism and care they want.
My approach
Every dog has their own personality, routine and little ways of doing things, so I take the time to get to know them properly. I match walks and routes to what they actually need, whether that's a longer countryside ramble, a gentle stroll, sniff time, or quiet company at home.
Training sessions follow the same principle, built around your dog's pace, not a one-size-fits-all method.
My approach is calm, force-free and reward-based. I pay attention to body language, confidence and comfort, so every dog feels safe, understood, and supported at their own pace.
